Ram Naidu :
Frankly I don't love RWBY and Roosterteeth anymore. I the same way I don't love Type-Moon and the Fate franchise.
Both companies and their leading franchises are taking things too far. Whether it's the former promoting Wokeness or the latter promoting Feminism.
Which is why I said I don't love or even like them anymore.
Roosterteeth and Type-Moon are promoting messages that they see as popular, but aren't good.
Just because it's popular doesn't mean it's likable or entertaining.
Anyway all I know is, if they're not going to knock off the Wokeness, Feminism and Boy-Bashing, then their companies are going to go bust.
Companies like Type-Moon and Roosterteeth think that all publicity is good publicity, which let me tell you it isn't.
Operating on such a mindset will undermine your works.
I'm talking about the whole of Type-Moon and the whole Fate Franchise. From all the Anime (Deen, Ufotable and so on) and all the Games (from Visual Novels to F/GO mobile).
Now don't get me wrong there are actually Brilliant and Genius works like Heaven's Feel Trilogy, Lord El Melloi II Case Files and of course the Big Game changer Fate/Zero. Credit where it's due, these are the best Anime I've seen the company produce.
But the problem is their other works in the Fate franchise are not so terrific and can be rather off-putting.
But the worse is when the Really, Really, REALLY diehard fans of those other Fate enteries insist on you watching or playing them, stating that that if you don't than your not a true fan or you're missing out, or some other crap.
I mean it was bad enough the original Fate VN has the whole "3 Main Heroines Waifu Wars" problem. With fans of the respective main heroines having comment wars and even out right threats and intimidation towards one another.
But now when other stories with different characters and pairing come up, it's just spilt over a whole other mess.
Frankly it's that lot that has made me quit other Fate and Type-Moon material.
Does this mean I still love the franchise; company and creators; support all of their decisions and may consider returning to the rest of the franchise? No.
Does it mean that I hate them, no longer having respect for them and wish to see the snuffed out? Absolutely NOT. That notion is ridiculous.
I'm just stating that the company is taking a path and route too eerily similar to the of Roosterteeth and RWBY. And that it's not helping my view of'em. Whether you think so or not is wholly up to you. I'm merely share my views and analysis of the situation with regards to both companies and franchises.
After Heaven Feel III I'm going to be done with Fate and Type-Moon. There are many more and even better media franchise out there, both new and old. But I'll always have Fate/Zero, Lord El Melloi II Case Files and the Heavens Feel Trilogy.
They may not be enough to restore my faith in Fate or Type-Moon, especially with the direction both franchise and company are taking, but they will always inspire and motivate me to strive to be better and to cherish the little things.
