The sales target includes units from the new PlayStation 5 Pro, which was launched Thursday. In the U.S., the enhanced console carries a price tag of $699.99. While Totoki acknowledged that he has received many comments about this high price, he also showed no signs of changing it.
"It is a high-end product targeted at core customers, so we haven't been eyeing a large sales plan to begin with," the president said.
