Kokomi - With Like 5 Minutes of On-Hand Experience
- On paper, it might seem that Kokomi could be a Vape/Xiangling enabler, but the energy costs, lack of repositioning on her elemental skill, and lower Hydro application makes it not feasible/worth.
- Fantastic as a Hydro applier for team compositions that previously lacked reliable Hydro application or healing. She's a decent "upgrade" over Barbara in EC compositions with Venti or Kazuha - as her healing is quite nice. In Morgana +/- Ayaka, she's great. The loss of Omen doesn't really matter.
- As a Beidou driver, the frames aren't in for her # of discharges, but there are some animation cancel things in the background.
- Everlasting Moonglow is horrible - don't roll for it and don't get baited by Jade Cutter either. Use TTDS/Prototype Amber please.
- CRIT builds are shit still, stop it. Investing 200CV is not going to get you anywhere you want to be.
- Energy Recharge, you need quite a bit, 180%+ with no battery, etc.
Closing Thoughts:
Kokomi is actually quite a good unit if you have team compositions that previously were locked if you didn't have Tartaglia or Mona. Even with Tartaglia or Mona however, her healing is quite a nice luxury and she is quite comfortable to slot in anywhere. Trading damage for reliable health and Hydro is a bit underestimated, but this does not push her into the recommended category at all. 2/5.
